The project LESS provides an opportunity for the public to become familiar, through multimedia photo collages, with an exploratory, logical and intuitive artistic process. It also acts as a catalyst to create reflection about modern way of life.

Objects, close-up’s, portraits, animals, headLESS models… It might sound absurd or surreal, but the recontextualisation of familiar everyday objects with the use of photo collage are turned into scarp contoured, sculptural expressions. The precise and clean cut composition of colour and shape suggests, in a poetic, consistent language, that the fragmentation of contemporary, nomadic, globalised life does not drain it of meaning. The works show the process of navigating through the rapid flow of visual impressions that the contemporary consumer is constantly confronted with. The way this is accomplished is not along a highway leading to clear answers and a panoramic overview. Instead, we follow myriad paths inspiring the spectator to reflect upon the power of images and think about how meaning is attributed, exchanged and constantly contested.
